I'm Katie, and I make photos of people.
I've been a photographer since 2011, documenting births, bellies, babies, families and kiddos all across the bluegrass (and beyond). I'm located right outside of Louisville, Kentucky, putting me in excellent position to serve Louisville, Lexington and Southern Indiana and everywhere in between.
I've had the privilege of photographing hundreds of birth stories and a few thousand portrait sessions. I've gotten to document firsts, lasts and in betweens and a lot of Very Best Days. I've earned my keep as a high-placing birth photographer in Birth Photographer of the Year (Top 20 in 2023 and 2024) and was lucky enough to be a panel judge in 2024. I've been published far and wide - Buzzfeed, HuffPo, Good Morning America are just a few that have shared my work. I am a standing member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers and a certified Birth Becomes You Professional Birth Photographer.
