Hey, I'm Katie : birth and portrait photographer, Louisville-area local, and the person you want in the room when everything that matters is happening.
I've been documenting births, bumps, babies, and families since 2011, and in that time I've had the privilege of witnessing hundreds of the most sacred, chaotic, beautiful moments of people's lives. I don't just show up with a camera - I show up for you.
In 2025, I placed Top 5 in Birth Photographer of the Year — one of the most competitive birth photography competitions in the world. I've been featured in Buzzfeed, HuffPost, and Good Morning America. I'm a proud member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers and a certified Birth Becomes You Professional.
I'm also a wife, a mom of three boys, and an autism parent, which means I come to this work with a whole lot of patience, a whole lot of heart, and zero judgment. Ever.
I live on a farm, have a Mountain Dew problem, am well decorated in a bunch of tattoos that really don't make a lot of sense and I will absolutely cry at your birth. Fair warning.
